rremark is a contemporary incense brand that reimagines the healing power of traditional agarwood for modern urban life. Rooted in the idea of “rebirth through marks,” the brand bridges the medicinal, trustworthy qualities of ancient Eastern remedies with the aesthetic values of today’s middle-class consumers—ease, refinement, and attention to everyday detail. Its visual identity reflects this balance: a muted, calming color palette, minimalist typography, and a logo that vertically arranges the English name in the spirit of traditional Chinese typesetting. The result is a visual language that feels both disciplined and warm—quietly evoking tradition while speaking in a distinctly modern tone.


rremark 是一个将传统沉香疗愈文化重新演绎为现代都市生活方式的当代品牌。我们以“疗愈”为核心理念,关注沉香如何在受创之后,经过时间的修复,缓慢生成珍贵香韵。品牌试图在东方传统疗愈观念所承载的信任感与安定感,和当代中产消费者追求的细腻、松弛与品质生活之间,找到一种平衡。视觉系统延续这一感受:采用静谧柔和的自然色调,搭配克制留白的排版方式,并以传统中文竖排的方式呈现英文品牌名,呼应东方书写的结构美感。整体视觉语言冷静而富有温度,既含蓄唤起传统,又以当代语境传递品牌独有的气质与节奏。

Supporting Graphic Element

These vertical lines are a key supporting graphic in rremark’s visual system, inspired by the puncture marks left on agarwood trees as they begin to heal and form resin. The pattern abstracts this process into a quiet rhythm, visually echoing the two vertical strokes in the rremark logotype. It subtly reinforces the brand’s core idea—rebirth through marks—and adds a sense of cohesion, depth, and quiet symbolism across applications.

这组竖线图形是 rremark 视觉系统中的核心辅助元素,灵感源自沉香树打孔后的痕迹——树木在创伤后缓慢分泌树脂,自我修复,最终形成香韵。这一图形不仅呼应了品牌“rebirth through marks”的核心理念,也与 LOGO 中的两条竖线形成视觉联动,构建出统一而克制的视觉语言。设计简洁、有节奏感,在细节中传递出疗愈、痕迹与时间的层次感。



Incision Marks on Agarwood Trees

The orange lines illustrate the vertical wounding technique used on agarwood trees—deliberate cuts that trigger the tree’s healing response and resin formation. These evenly spaced incisions became the visual inspiration for rremark’s supporting graphic system. Abstracted into a subtle linear rhythm, this pattern honors the material’s origin and quietly echoes the brand’s core idea: rebirth through marks.

图中橙色线条标示的是沉香树在人工打孔后的创口路径。这些有节奏的纵向切口,是树木启动自我修复、生成树脂的起点,也成为 rremark 辅助图形的视觉灵感来源。我们将其抽象化为竖向的线条节奏,延展为品牌识别图案,既保留了原始材料的生命感,也呼应了品牌“rebirth through marks”的核心理念。











The rremark color palette is drawn from the natural origins of agarwood—echoing the muted greens of forest foliage, the soft earth tones of the soil, and the smoky translucency of incense as it burns. These tones reflect the organic, plant-based nature of the product, the warmth of handcrafted processes, and the quiet restraint embedded in the brand’s ethos. Rather than vivid or synthetic hues, the palette favors desaturated, earthy shades that evoke calm, authenticity, and a slower pace. Color, here, becomes a visual extension of scent—and a subtle embodiment of the brand’s healing rhythm.


rremark 的品牌色从沉香的自然生长环境中提炼而来,融合了原产地林木的青绿、土壤的温润灰褐,以及线香燃烧后微光下的朦胧色调。整个色彩体系传递出植物的生命感、有机物的温度感,以及手工制作中所特有的克制与质朴。我们刻意避免过度饱和的人工色彩,转而选择低明度、低饱和的自然色系,在视觉上延续品牌的“慢、柔、真实”体验。色彩既是气味的延申,也是品牌疗愈节奏的一部分。









Each stick of rremark incense is crafted using natural raw materials and traditional hand-making methods. Agarwood is sourced locally in southern China, with no chemical additives or artificial fragrances used. The incense is formed through a slow process of mixing, pressing, sun-drying, and careful hand-finishing. This fully manual approach ensures that every piece retains the authentic scent, texture, and vitality of the original plant material.


rremark 所使用的沉香线香,坚持以天然原料与手工工艺制成。原料产自华南本地,保留木材最初的气味与质地;制作过程中不添加任何化学粘合剂与香精,以水与植物粉末调和成型,经由晒制、压模与自然干燥完成。每一道工序都依靠手的温度与经验,确保香气的真实与稳定,也保留了植物的原始生命感。








The visual identity of rremark is centered on the experience of gently awakening the senses. In home use scenarios, the design remains understated—serving as a quiet extension of perception, and forming a calm, soft sensory atmosphere alongside space and daily rituals.


rremark 的视觉系统围绕“唤醒感官”的体验展开。在居家使用的语境中,这套视觉语言不过度强调存在感,而是作为感知的延伸,与空间与日常行为共同构成一个平静、柔和的感官场域。
